Objective behind the trip
The objective behind this trip was to familiarize the students with the technique of Drip irrigation, and its advantages along with the cultivation of grapes.

Observation of Students
The students were educated about the conservation of water while adopting the method of drip irrigation. They learnt that about 70% of water can be saved by this method. They were informed about the various micro nutrients required for a good crop of grapes as well as the different stages of pruning of the plant.

 

Observation of Teachers
The teachers were treated to a rewarding insight of the caliber and eagerness of the students to learn about grape farming in its natural surroundings. It was a truly amazing and fruitful experience. The teachers were surprised at the eagerness of the students and the level of questions put up by most of the students on the first day .


 

Conclusion
·This type of educational tour ‘s should be encouraged for the enlightenment of student’s mind .
·This step should be taken to galvanize the students and to elevate them above the level of mediocrity.
·This step can canalize the caliber of student towards their desired zenith.
