Our Morning Star School rules and regulations reflects our school value. Rules and regulations are necessary as they maintain a conducive environment for learning in which everyone shows consideration, concern,  and respect for one another. We expect all  students to obey the rules of the school .  School has a right to insist that their rules are followed. 

General Conduct:- Have a good manners and show respect, care and concern for everyone .Be a good example to your peers.

1.      Be polite and well-behaved at all times

2.      Show respect and obey school authority.

3.      Be considerate to others.

4.      Take good care of school property and premises.

5.      Uphold the good  name of the school.

6.      Be responsible and disciplined.

7.      Show courtesy and respect to all the staff members.

8.      Do not fight or cause injury to other students.

Academic Growth:-All students are responsible for making a Maximum effort to learn

·        Be in class on time

·        Be prepared for the class with appropriate materials.

·        Participate in class activities.

·        Being studying in English medium school  you have to talk only in English in the Campus. 

·        Follow classroom  procedures .

·        Complete your assignments and home work .

·        Progress towards promotion.

·        Be in school everyday.

·        Bring your school diary daily.

Attendance and Punctuality :- All the students must be on time in school.

·        Attending morning assembly is compulsory

·        Students not attending assembly will be marked Late comer or Absent. Late coming is an unacceptable habit. Action will be taken against regular late coming students.

·         Regular school attendance is an important and a key factor in the success of a student achieves in school. Students missing school frequently can fall behind their course and do less well in Exams.

·        A note of explanation must be brought from a parent each time when a student remains absent.

·        If a  student has to leave the school premises for any reason during the school hours . Parents must sign the application for his child.

·        90% attendance is compulsory for all the students . short attendance students will not be allowed to give Examination as a regular candidate.

·        All  the board class students have to attend all the Extra classes without absence.

Home work/Examination

·        Students are expected to complete satisfactorily all the home work given. In the matter  of problems with home work ,a note of explanation must be given to the class teacher or subject teacher.

·        All the students should have a students planner to use as their home work diary.

·        Special care and attention to be given to tidiness of work and care for school property.

·        Examination  schedules  have been provided to all the students. It is compulsory for every student to appear in all the Unit test,Terminal examinations & Pre boards (for board classes only).Without giving the examination ,Students will not be allowed to sit in the class. If a student is missing any test/examination due to medical problem,he/she has to submit a proper medical certificate and a fresh Examination will be conducted according to the convenience of the school.

School Uniform:- Students coming to school , attending the classes and leaving school must be properly dressed up. Students must look neat and clean all the time.

·        Daily School uniform for the boys are Grey pant,Sky blue shirt, Navy blue socks &black shoes. Girls uniform sky blue shirt , grey tunic , sky blue socks & Black shoes

·         White uniform ,white shoes and white socks  for all the students is compulsory on Wednesday.

·        Tie & Belts House wise is compulsory to wear by all the students every day.

·        Dungarees,sneakers and sandals are not permitted. Except watch , gold or expensive jewelry is not permitted.School will not be held responsible for the loss of such articles.

·        Coloring of hairs or designing  hair is not allowed in school.

Unacceptable Items:- The following items  should not be brought to school

Glass bottles, Radios, CD’s, Ipods , Cellular phones, Cigarettes.Chewing Gums,Computer soft ware items.

* Students may not have cell phones at school. These will be confiscated until the end of the current  term and and may then be collected upon payment of Rs 2000 fine. 

Discipline in school campus:- Discipline is a little like weather  that every body talks about , but not many do much about it .But we are determined to maintain our high standards for excellence of our students and our school.

·        Respect and courtesy are expected all the time

·        Give respect to your staff members,teachers, captains, classified employees, guest speaker,substitute teachers,and other students  

·        Keep your class room and ground free of litter by using the bins provided.

·        Do not linger near the school fences to communicate with any one on the other side.

·        Do not linger in the corridors or in bathroom.

·        No Foul Language in school campus .

·        No fighting ,.threats or bullying either verbal or physical.

·        Do not chat in class or waste your time in other ways.Always meet deadlines for work.

·         Always do your best to present neat and thorough work.

·        No shouting .whistling or running is allowed in school building.

·        No students should spoil the desk or damage school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or on furniture. Damage done even by accident should be immediately reported to the class teacher or the principal.  

 Fees for the session:- Fees for the session will be the same as last  and handout is  attached herewith ,detailing the time of payment of the fees. It is compulsory to pay the fees on time. Fees not paid on due date will be fined Rs 100/- at the time of Payment.

Information for parents:- The essence of good education lies in drawing out the best in child and in his/her all round personality development. In order to achieve this ideal, maximum co-operation between parents and school authorities  is essential. You are therefore requested to extend your co-operation to the school in the following respect.

·        As English is medium for instruction in school, encourage your child by helping him/her to  follow his lessons in class by regular conversation with them in English. 

·        Please do not criticize any teacher of school in presence of your child. Incase  you have any complaint please free to bring  in the knowledge of the Principal if required.

·        Please check your child’s diary every day .Please see that his/her diary are carefully and regularly checked.

·        Help your child to inculcate the idea of dignity of work. Please encourage your child to maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in the class room and in school premises. He/she should take care of  their personal belongings.

·        Please remain in constant touch with the school authorities in order to monitor you child’s development in the school. Parents can come and meet the teacher only on Saturday in School timing.

·         If your child is not doing well in studies you are free to meet in the school to the Principal and also to the subject teacher and try to find appropriate reason and rectification method for improvement of your child.

·        All the Parents are requested to send their children in proper school uniform. Please ensure that your child is punctual in school.

All the Parents should inculcate habit of respecting teachers and their elders  among their children.
